On the wings of a magnificent month-long residency at Caffe Vivaldi last December, soulful New York City based singer-songwriter Danielle Gasparro returns to her beloved hometown musical nest for an enchanting and dynamic spring presentation of her vital, ever-expanding body of piano-driven work. Performing every Tuesday in April & May from 7:30pm - 9:30pm, Danielle will once again be joined by an illustrious lineup of guest artists who are among the great musical heavyweights performing and recording in NYC today—with one very special evening of poetry and song held in April, creatively “composed” as part of National Poetry Month.

Kevin Shoemaker, a New York City-based pianist, composer, and producer, writes and performs in a variety of musical styles and forms from piano music to hip-hop to film scores. Kevin also works as a collaborative pianist with the Mark Morris Dance Group and Schola Cantorum on Hudson.

Joseph O'Rourke, born in New York City, is a classical pianist with special interest in the fields of Music Theory and Pedagogy. He currently works as a Piano Teacher and is an aspiring Music Theorist on the collegiate level.

An evening with 3 talented singer-songwriters, sharing story and song in this unique collaborative concert event.

Avi Wisnia is an award-winning composer, singer, performer and educator, finding inspiration in Brazilian bossa nova, acoustic American folk, 1950’s west-coast jazz, and contemporary pop. Avi tours in support of his debut album, "Something New," performing in prestigious venues around the world – from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City to The Kennedy Center in Washington DC to concerts in Warsaw, Poland and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The songwriter has appeared alongside artists such as The Roots, Ani DiFranco, Arturo Sandoval and Maroon 5, and his music has been featured on TV and in featured films. His latest single “Sky Blue Sky” was recorded via satellite between Philadelphia and Brazil, winning recognition from the Philadelphia Songwriters Project and MidAtlantic Songwriters Competition. In addition to being a performing songwriter, Avi Wisnia has also given a TED talk about “The Nature and Nurture of Bossa Nova” and performed with The Moth storytellers.

A Kerrville New Folk finalist, 2016 and Most Wanted Artist at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, 2017, Kirsten Maxwell's rise in the music scene is one to watch. Based out of Long Island, NY, Kirsten gives everything to her live performances and has been described as “making love to the audience”. She released her debut album in 2015, making the Folk Radio DJ list and expanding her reach exponentially. Her follow-up EP is in the works and is expected to be released this spring.

Mike Tedesco is a pianist, and singer-songwriter currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. Inspired by musicians such as Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Dave Matthews, Ray Charles, Jeff Buckley, and Thelonious Monk, Tedesco has been writing music and performing all throughout the Tri-State Area. His most recently released 6-song EP entitled "Put To Rest" consists of meticulous piano playing, heartfelt lyrics, and rich vocals, providing listeners with a poignant and memorable emotional experience.

He is currently preparing a new jazz release with this trio, featuring jazz standards and originals.
