Jorge Continentino is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist from Rio de Janeiro. Túlio Araújo is a Brazilian percussionist from Belo Horizonte. He studied at the renowned Bitucaoficial Universidade, with masters such as Ian Guest, Serginho Silva and Felipe Moreira. He developed, after studying with the famous Marcos Suzano, a clever idea of blending his main instrument - the Pandeiro - with the contemporary Jazz language. He is in NYC for a couple of months, releasing his 2 albums ("Manguêra" and "East") and showing the power of what he calls his "little pocket drum set".
Leo Eymard is a Brazilian 7 string guitar player also from Belo Horizonte, who studied Music and Composition at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and with masters such as André Mehmari, Cristovão Bastos,Alessandro Penezzi and Rogério Caetano. He won the renowned BDMG Cultural award in 2012 as the best composer and he is coming to NYC for the very first time to show his music.
